Tess’ Week

Hello, I’m Tess. You’ve probably seen me around this blog on and off. My BFF human tends to throw me into her stories at random times.

This time I get my very own story.

Why? Because the last week has been pretty busy for me. One of my human brothers came home for a week. He lives so far away I don’t get to see him very often. I miss him a lot. When he came home I was so excited I ran and ran around in circles yipping and wagging my tail as fast as I could. Just so he would  know I was really, really happy to see him. I think he got the message.

I got lots of cuddles and attention. Somehow, I think he missed me too.

This is me watching television at night with him. Weeeell – sleeping….

And here he is giving me rides.

Then came the day he took me to the doggy playground. I have never, ever been there before. Imagine my surprise when my other human brother was there with his fur babies.  Those terrible twins have invaded my space ever since February.  I put up with them because I have to. And because we all get treats. (Truth be told the treats win….)

I ran through this big round thing that had holes at both ends.

That was fun.

There were so many new smells and places to investigate.

I kept having to stop and sniff.

Anyway, I couldn’t keep up with the fur cousins so I stopped trying.

I even found this really, really super cool smell.

I just had to roll around in it.

Humans are funny about things like that.

I don’t understand.

He said ‘Yuk, Tess! Gross! That’s poo!”

And I was like Oh yeah!!!!!

Apparently it made me smell bad.

As soon we  got home I had to have a bath.

We had lots of yummy food too.

For some reason this made my belly (and some other’s) go round.

A photo opportunity that made everyone howl with laughter.

I have to admit I was a little embarrassed.

This is not one of my favourite photos.

I was called a bottle. Broad at the beam.

Sadly, all good things come to an end.

I am now recuperating and resting for a return bout at Christmas.

  2. Oh she must have enjoyed having her “favourite” human at home again for a week. She looked so cute in the pics and seemed to be enjoying herself. Up to Christmas now for another active time, no wonder she is resting now.
