The word thing has got me this week. I just had to search for some
George Bush’isms – he’s a renowned wordnik:
“It’s time for the human race to enter the solar system.”
⇒ He is a shining star.
“The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country.”
⇒ Sharp as a tack
” It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment. It’s the impurities in our air and water that are doing it. ”
⇒ I never knew.
“If we don’t succeed, we run the risk of failure.”
⇒ Seriously ?!
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
⇒ An infinite spectrum of possibilities
Well, I think if you say you’re going to do something and don’t do it, that’s trustworthiness.
⇒ I’ll have to think about this one some more.
“See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda.”
⇒ Can you say that again?
“I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we’re really talking about peace.”
⇒ Uh- huh …
“We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur. ”
⇒ Always good to be prepared
“I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future.”
⇒ A visionary
“I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.”
⇒ Good to know
“We look forward to analyzing and working with legislation that will make—it would hope—put a free press’s mind at ease that you’re not being denied information you shouldn’t see.”
⇒ That’s freedom for you
“In a time of war, the president must have the power he needs to make the tough decisions, including, if need be, the decision to grant himself even more power.”
⇒ I’m lost for words …
“I don’t have the foggiest idea about what I think about international, foreign policy.”
⇒ Really?!

Steps for Peace
Talk peace, not war!!
Now I know the benchmark for Trump’s declarations – he’s a way to go till he can equal Bush, but he’s getting there.
Oh, what a chuckle I’ve had. I’d forgotten about Dubbya. He makes Trump seem profound.
Oh my, that’s a scary thought right there!
That was great Raili. Made me laugh with disbelief.
Me too! He was such a goofus
Reblogged this on Opher's World and commented:
It is almost beyond belief that someone of this intellectual standard can rise to such a level. It could only be topped if Dan Quayle had become President. What does it tell us?
Not sure if I want to go down that path….. thanks for the reblog, Opher
