Christmas is just around the corner – again! Finding a suitable gift can be challenging. The commercial hype that pushes for ever more extravagant, expensive ‘stuff’ seems to have become the norm. I don’t like it. Not one bit. As much as possible I avoid the mad rush of December when the shops are full to the brim with screaming kids, stressed parents and overloaded trolleys.
Are you looking for different, more interesting gift options? Tamara from The Purple Almond published a post that provides so many wonderful options for gifting. Here’s her link – Gifts that give.
As an early December Soul Gifting, I have chosen Tamara. She is a student at the Hawthorn University working towards a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education. She has this to say –
For me, health isn’t just about food it’s about living a positive, happy, healthy life.
Where food is concerned, I’m all about getting back to the basics, good old fashioned traditional organic, whole food, the kind your great-grandmother used to eat. You’ll find no processed foods here. Just good food to heal your whole body.
Stress plays a large part in the physical health of our body. I, therefore, believe in using anything that relieves stress and heals the body, including: meditation, yoga, music, laughter, inspiration and helping others. You’ll find all these included in my blog as well.
Her blog is full of fascinating stuff – for example this 100 year old recipe for Apple Johnny Cake. You just might something interesting for Christmas. Do visit.
