There is no internet connection.
Time for resuscitative measures.
Turn it off….
Remove battery….
Turn it on….
Fingers crossed….
Nope! Dead as a dodo.
It is stuffed
Since Saturday a week ago.
The whole street is non-communicado.
No blogging, no emails, no googling, no reading, no YouTube, no …..
nothing but an empty screen …
Hours and hours on the phone – every house and home
Frustration, anger, blowing off of gaskets
Only to be told “A cable has been severed.
There is a major outage in the neighbourhood “ they said
Really?!
“A spare part is needed. It will take 2 – 3 weeks.”
Are you SERIOUS?!
We are paying for a service without a service.
Finally last night we got 11gb extra data to hotspot via mobile
At last! On the net, but without the internet.….

Steps for Peace
Breathe ……
just breathe…….
slow and deep ….(me)
Glad to see and hear that you are back on Raili. It so soooo frustrating when one is without the usual forms of communication.
Must surely be a relief for everybody in the neighbourhood. Keep on breathing deeply to get rid of the accumulated stress. 😊😊
The severed cable isn’t fixed. Not sure how the others are dealing with it. Some are on wireless only…
Lovely to see you are back, great news x
Thanks, Brooke 🙂 It’s like coming home.
It does make you realise how dependent we have become ,,,
It does that – finding a balance is the key, I think.
Raili – one of my favorite sayings and one very appropriate for this problem, “This too shall pass”.
You’re so right, Bernadette 🙂 Problem is, it keeps coming back !
Lol , you make me laugh, and breathe……………. 🧘♀️
Ex-ce-llent !!
I’m glad you’re back. 😉
Thanks! It’s good to be back 🙂
Glad you’re back Raili. It is amazing how things all clog up when you’re off-line for even a short while.
sure does. And the latest is it could take till next year to get it fixed 😦 Hotspotting for free at the moment.
Oh – and thanks. It’s like coming home to all my friends.
