Echoes of Trike

‘He’ is about to emerge

The Retired Husband (TRH) has been hankering for a trike for many years. He eventually found one in Sydney.

Unfortunately due to some unexpected mechanical problems he had to leave it at Goulburn. It was to be trucked home.

Many restless nights and countless phone calls, texts, emails and heartburn, it has finally arrived home. It took many weeks longer than expected. In hindsight, TRH says he should have just hired a trailer and gone to pick it up himself.

Here he is in all his glory – yet to be christened.

Any suggestions?

Work is in progress for the mechanical stuff that needs doing. Nothing major it would seem. Don’t ask me. What I know about bike trike mechanics has just been said. Oh  – it has a VW engine.

  1. Surely you aren’t going to let him have all the fun by himself on that? I’d be up and on it and off like a shot if it came my way! Wheeeee round the block …. I like its registration, BAZ 42 really says it all.Big Awesome Zoomer (and 42 is the answer to everything).

    1. Hahaa! I’m not licensed. Here in our state someone in their wisdom decided that to be licenced for a trike you need to have a motor bike licence first, So that’s what he did. Then he had to be on provisional plates for 12 months before he could apply for a trike licence. It has been a long process. I only have a normal car licence. Although I don’t need any kind of a licence to sit on the back seat 🙂
