The Ripple Effect

tree of qualities in season

Hi there!

How are you today?

I hope you’re well  😉

Do you need some help ?

Here, let me do that for you.

I’d like to share this with you…

Kindnesses. Random acts of kindness, smiles, little acts of thoughtfulness can make such a big difference to another person’s day.

Did you know that  “The positive effects of kindness are experienced in the brain of everyone who witnessed the act, improving their mood and making them significantly more likely to ‘pay it forward.’ This means one good deed in a crowded area can create a domino effect and improve the day of dozens of people!”

Did you know there is a World Kindness Day ?

The next one is Nov 13, 2017.

Let’s make it a habit 😀

Let’s start right now 🙂

Let’s make it every day, not just once a year 😮

Let’s make each act of kindness a Step for Peace

  1. This is a lovely post. I’ll come back to it when I stop shaking… if you’re there, can you read my latest post, please, and comment – it doesn’t matter what you say. I think someone is messing with my site. I’ve been getting weird messages about Laura and her ex from fake WP sites.

    1. I’m sorry Jane, I only just saw this. I think you must have taken the post down? I couldn’t find it. You could always report the problem to WP – I’m sure they would not condone trolling or whatever it is you call something so obnoxious. Hope you’re feeling better now *hugs* xxx

      1. It’s OK, you read the post – it was titled Disaster, and I’m feeling fine now, thanks. The trolling came on top of a couple of other really unpleasant experiences – for example, yesterday morning the man who beat Laura up stood outside the building where I live – a block housing about forty aging individuals, raised his eyes to my window, yelled “Jane”, and screamed obscenities about Laura, at the top of his voice. I wouldn’t say I over-reacted to the messages from the troll, more that I over-compensated for my calm reaction to the verbal attack.
I think there’s something about me and the month of July. Maybe my mood makes me a magnet – hey, that’s a good line… 😉

      2. I’ve checked through all the posts he commented on. He doesn’t know Laura. He’s just a low-life troll whose been finding obscure comments from me – to you and Calen, mainly – under my posts, and copying and pasting them… my fault, but what a creep. I’ve trashing them for weeks, but they weren’t about Laura at first, so it didn’t bother me. I know who it is – he’s a follower, but I’ve been advised not to try to block him, as I’ll end up blocking other people as well – something about IPs not being unique to one person any longer…

      3. Funny what people do for ‘entertainment’. Perhaps he’ll get sick of posting them if they never make it to light of day on your posts

      4. I don’t think I’m the only one he targets, somehow. I found the first of his comments in my spam folder, but after that he used different sites, and I had to send them to my spam folder myself. Maybe he spends his days hitting as many people as he can, and then switching sites when his comments start getting spammed.
I’m trying to think up a metaphor for a troll, but my brain’s gone numb.
