  1. Hi! So, being a nominee for the awards myself, I had to nominate people for the One Lovely Blog Award, and the Versatile Blog award (so many nominations!!), so I nominated you 😊 I love your blog.

    1. Thank you so much for the nomination and the lovely compliment 🙂 I have posted my response on your post with a link to my Award page. Have a fantastic weekend

  2. dry British humor, you can’t help but laugh cause the sketches are so simple and silly; I used to enjoy watching the two Ronnie’s variety show brings back memories of another time…..

  3. I loved the Two Ronnies. R. Barker was an incredible comedy scriptwriter… and
Dave Allen brings back some memories.
He used to always finish his show by saying “May your God go with you”, placing just the right emphasis on each word, so you knew that he was embracing those of every faith. It was heartwarming.

    1. We used to watch DA all the time! Loved him – and the R’s. I just happened to stumble on these when I was looking for something to post 🙂
How are you? Such terrible, sad happenings in the UK. The world needs to be flooded more than ever with peace and love ….

      1. Those whose hearts are filled with love are grieving for families and friends of lost loved ones, and for all of the innocent muslims who are being accused and abused as a result. Those with hate in their hearts think only of hate. For them these attacks seem to be no more than ammunition for their cause.
The whole thing is tragic. Now Trump is offering to lend assistance, and out awful Prime Minister will probably grab at the offer. That’s all we need.
At a time like this it’s not appropriate for me to grieve such a small thing as the terminal illness of Carhartt, my computer, or the trouble I had when I went to buy a new laptop…
