We’re off roadtripping again

TRH (The Retired Husband) and I are off today on a short ten day road trip. This time it’s a ‘rellie crawl’ – so visiting various family and friends scattered between Mt Gambier, South Australia and Lakes Entrance in Victoria .  My postings may be a bit erratic but I will do my best to capture some interesting things along the way to share with you.

    1. Thanks Candice – we’re going to see the kids (Marc and Shalini) and my sister, her family, and some friends. It’s a lightning trip with lots of driving !

      1. AWESOME! So happy you’re doing it even if it’s a lot of driving I so hope you have a lovely time with the kids and seeing your sister, get a pic of you with her so I can see? xxxxx BE CAREFUL TOO on the road k?

      2. Thanks. SOme road kill today. A kangaroo banged into us and dmaged both passenger side doors. And a bird dented our bonnet 😦 Other than that it has been uneventful

  1. Hope you and TRH will have a safe trip and come back with plenty of lovely memories to cherish. Just tell TRH not to be a leadfoot😘😘😘

    1. LOL!!!Wea\ have arrived at our first destination – Mt Gambier, 480km. Staying with Shalini for the night and leaving before sunrise to make it in time for ferry crossing.

    1. Thanks- great so far except for the kangaroo that decided to jump out as we drove past (lots of damage to 2 car doors – it lived) and the bird that dented our bonnet 😦

      1. No, it’s pretty common problem here. We wee on the road at peak activity time – dusk. There are always kangaroo road kill carcasses along the raod sides.
