Serene Sunday – world peace meditation

serene sunday - sunrise

The moon is full and round in the sky. We have had a burst of rain refreshing the air and nourishing the garden. It’s cool.  A gentle breeze rustles the leaves of the trees and rose bushes in our front garden. Birds are twittering and preening their feathers after the rain shower.

It feels serene and peaceful. I hope your Sunday is the same.

I invite  you to join me in a moment of meditation to build on the peace.

  1. A wonderful meditation post. It reminds me of a quote I try to read every day. It always helps me focus.

“An old Cherokee told his grandson, “My son, there’s a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies & ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy & truth. “The boy thought about this & asked, ‘Which wolf wins?'” The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed”. Hope you like this as much as I enjoyed your post. ♥♥

  2. wonderful, its quiet good…I too have very recently learned a very simple but extremely effective meditation technique from Sadhguru’s disciples , called AumKar meditation..its based on vibrations…it takes less than a minute to learn itand you have to practice it for only 15 minutes a day but is highly effective as you can actually feel vibrations moving upwards..will write about it in detail in my next post.
