Take time today to Be Still, in the Now Moment. If you have a sacred space, a place you retreat to for me time, go there now.
Give yourself permission to take some time out from a busy life. It recharges Mind, Body and Soul.
Perhaps light a candle, play some soft background music. You may like to use incense or an essential oil.
Choose a position of comfort keeping your spine straight, arms by your side or in your lap and feet flat on the ground.
You may choose to close your eyes to reduce any external distraction, preparing yourself to go within.
Focus just on your breath. Notice the air flow as you breathe in through your nose. How the coolness warms as it flows deep into your lungs. Hold it there for a moment. Then gently let it sigh out through you partially open lips. Do this three times, feeling yourself relaxing more and more with each breath.
Whatever for you is the Source of Highest Good and Unconditional Love, connect to it now from your our heart space. Feel the connection as a warm, soft glow. Then ground your energies deep into the core of the Earth. Imagine strong and sturdy roots growing from the soles of your feet keeping you grounded. Feel the energy as comforting and soothing as a mother’s love.
Stay in this state for as long as you like, drawing deeply on the energies that flow in and through you from above and below, bathing you, nourishing you, restoring you. Time stands still in this Now Moment. There is no other time. No before. No after. Just Now.
When you are ready, slowly bring your attention back to your body. Become aware of the surface on which you are resting. Of the sounds in the space you occupy. Of the smells that surround you. Of your limbs – gently wriggle your fingers and toes. When you are ready, open your eyes.
