Echoes of Cuteness – baby animals

It’s been a pretty torrid week here weather wise. For those not in the know

South Australia has had a ‘storm event’ of gigantic proportions.

So I felt a bit of cheering up was needed.

Well, for me anyway!

Baby animals Β do that for me.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did browsing for them.

The weather seems to have eased up. I think the worst is over.

Now for the clean up and political blame games which have already started !

Pandas are way too cute!! I couldn’t choose between these two.

  1. It is amazing that babies of nearly all creatures are so incredibly appealing to humans. That is biologically a bit strange. But they certainly cheer me up.
Sounds like it has been pretty extreme. Are the climate change deniers still making excuses?

  2. You’d need a lot af energy to work with those pandas, but wouldn’t it be a lovely job!
I’ve had a tough morning, and coming home to those baby animal vids has made my day. Lots of love to you Raili xxx
    That hedgehog – so cute…

  3. Sorry about the storm. I know it interfered with your electricity supply too. The baby animals would make any day seem a bit brighter, though. I hope things get back to normal soon. πŸ™‚

    1. The storm is giving us a respite day today with promise of a lot more rain next week. The north of Adelaide in the Barossa Valley and beyond have severe flooding and many rivers are overflowing their banks now. Some rural areas have been without power for several days. A whole town out west of Adelaide is without power so long the government has had to airlift water and food to them! this storm event as it is being called now is unprecedented here. We live in the driest state of the nation!!!!!!

      1. There seem to have a lot of odd weather events recently–floods in China, droughts in India, wildfires in Canada. Maybe it’s just that we’re all so connected these days that we hear about things we never use to, or perhaps it’s global warming. Either way, I’m sure it’s no fun at all to get caught up in it. 😦

      2. No, it’s not. My heart goes out to everyone who has been adversely affected where-ever they are.
We do hear a lot more about stuff than we ever used to – some of it would be best not to! And some of it is fascinating and fantastic πŸ™‚

  4. I like the energy of storms, but they aren’t all that great to be in, Raili! Hope you’re all OK.

I saw another video featuring that cute hedgehog yesterday, which is a nice coincidence! And those pandas on the slide… adorable!

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. We’re Ok, thanks Tom. I do love thunderstorms too, but this one was a superstorm that has decimated so much of our state.
Hedgehogs seem to be popular at the moment for some reason. I’ve come across that one a lot – it’s soooo cute πŸ™‚ And the pandas with the leaves makes me laugh everytime πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  5. Baby animals in particular have a way of making me forget about anything else. LOL In that second video, what was the animal right after the fox? I LOVED the fox. I think I may have an affinity for them. Or wolves…
