Echoes of Indulgence

Hair - pstd

I indulged today. A double appointment of pampering. First a haircut.  Whilst lying down in a massage chair I had a head massage followed by a hot towel deep conditioning treatment. Yes, my hairdresser supplies coffee and chocolates too. And I have finally (almost) made it to the new style I have been working towards for some months now.  Not that you can see much of it from these photos.  You’ll have to take my word for it.

And THEN I had another indulgence. My beauty therapist gave me a much needed back massage.

Had a few knots in there that needed to be released.

 Feeling good !

  1. My experience with a massage?
    My feet.
I’ve done it twice – something organic that involved fish that eat my toes. It was called a massage but it was more like torture.
Then another time where they bathed my feet in steaming water before fondling them. The whole session I was giggling away – another form of torture.
Needless to say, I don’t think I’m getting another! (at least not for my feet)

    1. The fish eat the dead skin – not experienced it myself. Ticklish feet can make a massage difficult, but it is so therapeutic. Your whole body gets a work-out the reflex points on the feet connect to every part of you. That’s why it feels so good.

  2. Sounds heavenly! I’ve had a hankerin’ to get a foot massage as of late. This diabetes is messin’ with my feet and they always seem to help get the circulation going. Problem is, they always put me to sleep! 😀

      1. Oh man! Wouldn’t THAT be heavenly! Drollery keeps my toenails taken care of, but he doesn’t like doing it. He’s always afraid he’s going to cut me. But you take that risk anywhere. He’s a good hubby. 🙂
