It’s my birthday!

You’re probably wondering if I’ve lost the plot. After all, I only just had a birthday. And of course you’re absolutely right, I did. This is another one  –  the first anniversary of my blog. My very first post Hello World was a limerick in which I introduced myself. I well remember the nervous tension when I pressed the publish button. And the sense of excitement.Twelve months down the track has seen a lot of changes. Frustration, growth, learning, lots of fun, new friendships all over the world. Thank you to each and every one of you – visitors, followers, passers by, WordPress. It’s a delight to meet you all.

  1. Isn’t it wonderful to be in contact with people all over the world, across cultures, ethnicities, religions, philosophies, political persuasions, attitudes, personality types, genders and inclinations – to share, argue, discuss and build relationships. That can only serve to help us all understand each other, realise we are all human and break down barriers. Thanks for sharing! It makes the world a better place.

  2. Happy blogbirth day! I well remember the feeling of apprehension when I made my blog live, i.e. public. Now I don’t understand why I was so fearful! There’s just so many nice people out in the blogosphere.

  4. Well I hope you don’t get a “cake in the face” today like the video! LOL It’s quite an accomplishment, isn’t it… I would be interested to see how many blog started each year poop out in just a few months!
