Thank you studiotj
for nominating me for the RESPECT Award. Your ‘soul gift’ to me is much appreciated.
This award has no conditions attached to it. It offers a way of shining the light on just a select few of the bloggers for whom I have a great deal of respect.
Their passion shines through. Some are champions and advocates for the voiceless, the disenfranchised of the world – the homeless, the mentally ill, the abused and victimised, the ones who are often forgotten or invisible to the rest of the world:
from Nigeria writes boldly and rawly giving voice to issues such as
female genital mutation, child abduction, women’s health and wellbeing issues
***
“is a growing community of people who advocate for all things related to mental health. Here you will find stories, research, tools, resources, and more in relation to topics like depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and more. You are not alone, and you are loved. The community here is a safe place for you to share your own thoughts, stories, and ideas to shed light on a topic that far too many people don’t speak about.”
***
shares stories about homelessness with warmth, dignity and respect.
Dennis Cardiff also happens to be an awesome poet.
***
Then there are those who share priceless pearls of love and wisdom:
is akin to the the blogging world’s Earth Mother
***
floods the blogosphere with messages of love
***
‘ 5 Ideas, 3 Questions, and an Action’ framework is a thought provoking and
deceptively simple invitation to reflect on the complex issues of life
***
This is for you – and all the other ‘Marias’ out there.
Thank you.

Thank you Jacquie – I did leave you a little note about the nomination the day I posted it , must have got buried somewhere 🙂
It must have and I have no idea where these comments go to. I keep worrying that people would send comments and I don’t see it to respond to.
Me too – I know some go to Spam, so I do check that regularly. Others – who knows? Blogosphere heaven somewhere ….
I have honestly wondered what happens to them.
