      1. I’m not sure. Someone who delved a bit into the family history of the Tanskas (my husband’s family, so by default mine) came up with some Viking connections. Not sure when the surname itself kicked in to the clan.

      2. πŸ™‚ Know the kid’s Hippopotamus song “Mud, mud, glorious mud” ? It popped into my head after discussions about DNA and blood tests. But the ‘mud’ became ‘blood’ – LOL!! Wanna join me in a bath ?

      5. Thank you FFF πŸ™‚ I don’t know that Finns are tall as a race – I’m an average 5’4″. No-one in my family even hits 6′. And my husband’s is the same. I know lots of small Finns too πŸ™‚ One of them even looks Italian with black hair and swarthy skin, lol. As for my hair – DNA? I do nourish it with weird things at times – like egg white, honey and sesame seed oil. I smell like a salad dressing, lol! Leaves the hair silky soft. Use it as a hot oil treatment. Rub it in, put on a disposable shower cap, then heat a towel in the microwave. Wrap it around your head like a turban. When it starts to cool, replace with another towel. Keep this up for 20 mins or so. .try it πŸ™‚

      6. You’re my height, maybe it’s the other Scandinavian ones who are giants, I mean, seems antithetical to have a very tall fairy?? πŸ˜‰

      7. I think faerie come in all different sizes from teeny, tiny, dainty ones to the larger variety. Sprites are part of the elemental kingdom too, aren’t they. And they are sort of tall and fairy-like.

      8. Lol πŸ™‚ This is the recipe – 1 egg white, 1 – 2 tsp runny honey, 1 tbsp sesame seed oil. Mix. When you have finished the treatment, wash hair as normal. I always shampoo twice, and still use conditioner.

      9. Ok good, then there’s hope!!! It’s not highbrow AT ALL but strangely addictive. I have the whole set, i wonder how much to post to Australia?
