The other day I posted a Sequel. This one is a Prequel.
Google is such a wonderful tool. That and YouTube. Anything you want to find out, type it in the search box, and up pop millions of possible options to consider. I get lost in the meanderings. Lose track of time. And I have been doing a lot of meanderings in the last couple of days.
Why, you may ask? Because I am working on a post for Australia Day on the 26th January. I want to create something different. Not just the usual kangaroos, koalas, the Sydney Opera House and suchlike. Been done to death. Ok, ok, so there’s a koala in this one! He’s cute… I want to take people on a different journey. Show them things about this country that are not the everyday usual touristy stuff that gets trotted out all the time. So I have been Googling and YouTubing. Drafting. Choosing videos. Changing my mind. Triggered memories lead me to look for other bits of information. And I can tell you I have found some real treasures!
Watch this space on Tuesday 26th January. Here’ s a couple of teasers. Look at them now because they won’t be in the Australia Day post –

The videos were great! I didn’t even notice the lack of kangaroos and the Sydney Opera House. 🙂
Great! There’s more on the way 🙂
Very cool.
Love the Henley on Todd Regatta in Alice Springs.
Yes, it’s rather unique. A boat race without water, who would’ve thought ?!
