Flowers and candles fight guns. That is what his father told him.
Peace. Such a small word. Yet it holds so much within it. The dictionary defines it as “freedom from disturbance; tranquillity, restfulness calm…a state or period in which there is no war”.
That is what the world is yearning for. A groundswell is building. People are tired. They want nothing more than to live in harmony and peace.
Today I watched an interview of a young child in Paris talking about his need to feel and be safe. His concerns were eased when his father changed his frame of reference to focus on the flowers and candles. That they were there to protect. That they were more powerful than guns.
Listen to him. You will be moved – Flowers and Candles
May we all change our frames of reference to use flowers and candles to fight the guns – to bring peace.

Great blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little
lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a
paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m
completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Thanks a lot!
Thanks 🙂 I use WordPress and have found it excellent. the only thing I pay for is an annual fee for WP to manage my domain name
Excellent
Thank you 🙂
My pleasure♡
