Love in 10 Lines

Time to get creative and tap into your inner Shakespeare! Don’t be shy. There is no right or wrong way of expressing yourself. Do it for your own pleasure. Share if you so feel inclined. If you do, I would love to read what  you have to say.

OK, here’s the challenge. I came across it in a post by a fellow blogger – People, Things and Life.  It seemed like a fun thing to do. So I did. Just to make it even more interesting for myself, I upped the ante and decided to make the first letter in each word based on the letters in the word LOVE. You will see each line contains the word ‘love’ twice.

Give it a shot if you like writing poetry. Play with it. The key thing is – have fun!

Here are the rules for the challenge:

1) Write about love using only 10 lines.

2) Use “love” in every line.

3) Each line can only be 4 words long.

4) Nominate 10 Or So others who are up for the challenge.

5) Let them know about the challenge.

6) Title the post, Love in Ten Lines

7) Include a quote about love

This is mine:

Love’s only vast effortless

embrace vows – only Love.

Love opened, volcanic, erupting

emotions valiantly owned – Love.

Love, open, vast, eternal

eloquence validating only Love.

Love’s occupants’ ventured embraces

entrap volumes of Love.

Love, omnipotent, visioned, everlasting.

Enraptured valor of – Love.

“Love is when your heart stretches sooo big it can’t fit inside you.”   My 2 year old son

    1. Thank you 🙂 and thanks for letting me know about the spelling errors. I triple check everything before posting to correct any errors. Sometimes i re-edit after posting too if I find I have missed some. However, I also use poetic licence, particularly in poetry, to ‘create’ new words with the intent that it can evoke emotion, interest and images for the reader. Sometimes just for the fun of it too. Perhaps this is what you are finding.
